C. in the Scope of Work calis for the identification of "locations on the <br />Rio Grande and at tributary confluence points where flood hazards are <br />substantial ..." Task III. C. provides for the contractor to utilize available <br />floodplain mapping to the extent possible. The map sheets in this addendum <br />show where floodplain mapping has already been prepared, whether it be <br />detailed floodplain mapping or approximate floodplain mapping, and whether it <br />be published or unpublished floodplain mapping. <br />There are 11 individual map sheets in Addendum A. 6 sheets (RG-1 through <br />RG-6) provide information about Rio Grande County and 5 sheets (AL-1 through <br />AL-5) provide information about Alamosa County. The map sheets display three <br />kinds of floodplain mapping: <br />1. Published detailed floodplain mapping <br />2. Published approximate floodplain mapping <br />3. In the case of Alamosa County the information applies to Rock <br />Creek, a tributary to the Rio Grande which joins the Rio Grande near the <br />Alamosa Airport. In the case of Rio Grande County the information applies <br />primarily to the Rio Grande itself. <br />
