Each of the projects would be summarirxd descTibing �e elem�n�.,ti, <br />feasibility, and costs of the individual project A final report will identify d�e array of projec:ts <br />diat could be developed in former Water District 64 to sati� the current and futurC needs for <br />water by Colorado. <br />The investigation is anticipa�ed to begin onc;e the final scope of work ts approved and th� �rant <br />money be�omes available, possibly in early summer of 1996, The investigarion is enviuoned to be <br />completed within six months subsequent to its begi�uung. - <br />RESULTS <br />By identifying po�nYial water management and development opportunities available to <br />Colorado under its compact entidement, the sta.te and watet users will be better able to initiate <br />efforts tow-drd developing water for those needs. The results of this investigation will create a <br />portfolio of projects that represent the available possibilities that exist in forcne.r Water District G4 <br />to meet existing and futute needs for water in thc South Platte River in �olorado. The study may <br />aIso stimuIate formuIation of an organization which can caziy out and manage effores co rellize <br />some or all of the goals identified. <br />
