B. Cross Mountain to Craig Twenty riffle cross sections on seven different riffles were surveyed in Strata 6. In Strata 8 there were 34 riffle cross sections at 16 different riffle habitats. A total of 324 inflection points were identified, one each for the six different variables for all 54 riffle cross sections (Appendix V.A., Table 1 and Appendix VI. A., Table 1).). A. Stream Width and Percent Wetted Perimeter Inflection point data for all riffles in Strata 6 and 8 are given in Table 1 of Appendices V. A. and VI. A. and the mean of the inflection points are given in Tables 3A and 3B. The mean of the inflection point for wetted stream width in Strata 6 was 220 cfs (Table 3A), and it was 200 cfs for Strata 8 (Table 313). The mean of the inflections points for all riffles above Cross Mountain (n =54) was 207 cfs (Table 4.). These inflection points corresponded to a stream width of 222 ft., 200 ft., and 207 ft. for Strata 6, strata 8 and combined, respectively. The inflection points for percent wetted perimeter were 220 (64 %), 165 (57 %) and 186 cfs (59 %), for strata 6, strata 8 and combined, respectively. The mean of the inflection points for stream width were at higher flows in Strata 6 compared to Strata 8, but wetted stream width was found to be higher in Strata 8 at flows less than 250 cfs. At flows greater than 250 cfs average wetted stream width was higher in Strata 6 (Fig 4, app. VA & VI.A). In Strata 6, the 50% wetted perimeter is provided at 125 cfs (Figure 1, App. V.A) which is a wetted width of 157 ft (Figure 4, App VA). In Strata 8, the 50% wetted perimeter is 130 cfs (Figure 1, App. VI.A), which is a wetted width of 175 ft. The 60% wetted perimeter is 212 cfs (width of 191 ft) and 252 cfs (width of 212 ft) in Strata 6 and 8, respectively. For all cross sections above Cross Mountain the 50% wetted perimeter is 128 cfs (width of 168 feet), and the 60% wetted perimeter is at 226 cfs (stream width of 205 ft). 17
