Offered Papers before Scientific Societies <br />Because White accomplishes research primarily by providing scientific guidance <br />to students and staff, all offered papers are co- authored with a student. Typically, <br />White was solely responsible for defining objectives of the study and managing its <br />progress, recruiting and directing students and staff, assisting with field work, <br />prescribing appropriate statistical tests, and writing, helping write, or extensively <br />editing reports, theses, or manuscripts upon which the presentations were based. <br />Furthermore, in his role as an educator, White promotes professional development <br />of graduate students and technicians by encouraging them to offer presentations, <br />meaning that much of White's research input is included in papers presented by <br />others. <br />1984 -1994 25 papers, most co- authored t; students, presented at Montana Chapter <br />AFS meeting <br />1994 Montana Academy of Sciences.
