The interested parties for this <br />project sha11 ma.intain full coordination with staff members of Mesa Count�,• ( <br />COiNT� and Colorado Water Conservation Board (CWCB), Grand Junction <br />Drainage District (District) and the Project Technical Review Committee (LOCAL <br />SPONSORS), the affected public, and County's Consultant (ENGP�TEER). <br />Conceptual alternate plans will be prepared in such a m3nner that each is complete in <br />its entirety and so outlined that comparison of component parts of the several altemate <br />plans is possible �vith a minimum of effort. The altemate plans will be so presented <br />that sequential work items will follow in a logical order, interdependence of one upon <br />the other will be clear, and where an altemate exists on any item, it will be specifically <br />pointed out. The floodplain risk determinai�on shall be performed in compliance with <br />the CWCB "Rules and Regulations for Floodplains" in paragraph C.1. (see AppendiY) <br />The work of ENGINEER for draina.ge is specifically defined as follows: <br />1.A. l. ENGINEER shall meet initially and bi-monthly thereatter or when <br />requested by COUNTY with the representazives of COIINTY,CWCB, DISTRICT, <br />LOCP.L SPONSORS and interested parties to: <br />a. Insure compliance with the "Scope of Services" required by tlus <br />;:�rreement. <br />b. Obta.in e�cisting data and general information from LOC?.L SPONSORS <br />�vho will provide full assistance. <br />c. Solicit desires of LOCAL SPONSORS and other interested parties in <br />order to develop alternate plans . <br />d. Procure current information relative to development plans in the <br />watershed. <br />e. Procure information relative to right-of-�vay lunitations and potential <br />hazards due to floodin�. <br />£ Avoid duplication of effort whenever possible by utilizing etiisting <br />information available from othez agencies. <br />� <br />2.A2. ENGII�IEER, after consultation with COLTNTY, shall contact Colorado <br />Depanment of Transportation, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Geological <br />Survev, Colorado Water Conservation Board, Colorado Water Quality Control <br />Division, Federal Emergency Management Agency, Natural Resources <br />Conservation Service; U.S. Bureau of Reclamation (USBUREC), Grand Vallev <br />
