How Can the Public Stay Involved? <br />Input from all Platte River interests is essential for successful cooperative management of this important <br />resource. The Governance Committee intends to provide useful and timely information to the public and <br />continuing opportunities for you to contribute to these activities. The Governance Committee will use direct <br />mailings and other means to announce meetings and other activities. All Governance Committee meetings <br />and subcommittee meetings are open to the public. The Platte River website will also provide information and <br />schedules at http: / /www.usbr.gov /platte. If you received this mailing directly, you are already on the Platte <br />River Endangered Species Partnership mailing list and will receive future information and notices. The next <br />mailing will provide details on the scoping workshops and meetings scheduled for late February through <br />March 1998. <br />Anyone wishing to be on the mailing list should contact the Platte River EIS Office, PO Box 25007, <br />Mail code PL -100, Denver CO 80225- 0007, 303- 445 -2096, FAX 303- 445 - 63'31. Please feel free to contact <br />this office or any member of the- Governance Committee for meeting schedules, other information, or to <br />- provide your comments. <br />The next meeting of the Governance Committee is scheduled for February 9, 1998, at 9 a.m. at the offices <br />of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in Lakewood, Colorado.
