To date, others have <br />expended $219,410 on this project. This phase involves a feasibility study to evaluate <br />construction of a new reservoir on Long Hollow at the lower end of the basin and to <br />evaluate enlargement the existing Red Mesa Ward Reservoir. The Long Hollow <br />Reservoir would allow for improved administration of the La Plata River Compact while <br />enlargement of the Red Mesa Ward Reservoir would �rovide stora e that would benefit <br />�, <br />water users within the basin M; �, �.. �� �� � <br />, k��� .�� �� This study and project are considered to be of statewide <br />concern since the purpose is to resolve issues associated with one of Colorado's <br />interstate compacts. <br />(See location map on reverse) <br />
