Department of Naturai Resources <br />SERVICES WAIVED FROM REVIEW <br />January 1, 2006 <br />services require the specialized skills and equipment not available within the <br />Department of Natural Resources. <br />• Specialized Technical Services <br />Musicians, dancers or speakers hired for special events, catering, auctioning <br />services, veterinary services, shoeing horses, helicopter and aircraft services, <br />court recorders for hearings and public meetings, taxidermy, divers, game <br />damage investigations, recovery of well-measuring equipment lost in wells, or <br />other services specialized in nature and are not able to be performed by <br />Department of Natural Resources employees due to the specialized skill <br />required, or the location where the service is provided <br />A2 — Non-Professional/Support Category <br />• Facility SupportJUtility Services <br />This category includes toilet pumping and waste removal services at facilities, <br />owned or operated by the Department. <br />■ Installation, Maintenance, Repair and of Computers, Computer <br />Peripherals and Software <br />This area includes installation, maintenance, repair and cleaning of all <br />computers, computer peripherals and computer equipment owned, leased or <br />used by the Department. It also includes software and hardware maintenance <br />agreements. These services are specialized and require specialized knowledge <br />of the equipment not possessed by Department staff. <br />• Specialized Services <br />This category includes services that are specialized in nature and are not able to <br />be performed by Department of Natural Resources employees due to the <br />specialized skill required, or the location where the service is provided. These <br />services include, couriers, gate opening services, horse boarding, moving of <br />offices and employees, alteration of uniforms, and investigation services. <br />A3 — Purchased Services <br />• Honorariums <br />This category includes fees paid to individuals to teach classes to the public. For <br />example, hunter education classes and hunt coordinators. <br />
