Jon <br />Altenhofen, PE, supervisory water resources engineer with the Northern Colorado Water <br />Conservancy District completed the accounting for these operations in 2003 and 2004. The <br />attached Memorandum from Mr. Altenhofen details the 2003 and 2004 augmentation accounting <br />and SCWU leasing of water supplies for replacement and augmentation. The Memorandum from <br />Mr. Altenhofen details the amount of funds being requested through this Grant for SCWU lease of <br />augmentation water during the 2003 and 2004 drought periods. The total Grant amount requested <br />for reimbursement to SCWiJ for 2003 and 2004 combined is $91,830. <br />The following additional information is enclosed in support of this Grant request: <br />--Financial statements for 2003 and 2004 from Julian W. Hoschouer, Jr., Public Accountant <br />--Official drought disaster declarations for 2003 and 2004 from the U.S. Department of <br />Agriculture, which includes Sedgwick County. <br />As President of the Sedgwick County Well Users, Inc., I am the primary contact person for this <br />grant request and will be responsible for signing the Grant contract.
