Investment would be self - <br />liquidating. <br />Project would be of special value to <br />northeastern Colorado. <br />Project would be of special value to <br />northeastern Colorado and Logan <br />County in particular. <br />Dam will provide protection to down- <br />stream property, will provide stor- <br />age of water for further development <br />of 'lands, and will provide storage <br />for reregulation of Colorado River <br />waters: Dam will assure continuance <br />of water rights and priorities un- <br />der laws of Colorado. <br />Unit will utilize flood flows to <br />offset water shortages, allow de- <br />velopment of new land, more fully <br />utilize Colorado River water in <br />accordance with compacts. Invest- <br />ment costs are self- liquidating. <br />Dam will provide protection to down- <br />stream property, will provide stor- <br />age of water for further development <br />of lands, and will provide storage <br />for reregulation of Colorado River <br />waters. Dam will assure continuance <br />of water rights and priorities under <br />- laws of Colorado. <br />Takes no position either <br />"for" or "against" Narrows <br />Dam. <br />
