Dam will conserve presently unused flood flows, will allow development of new land after transmountain di- versions are completed, will enable fuller utilization of Colorado Ri- ver water in accordance with com- pacts. Investment would be self - liquidating. Project would be of special value to northeastern Colorado. Project would be of special value to northeastern Colorado and Logan County in particular. Dam will provide protection to down- stream property, will provide stor- age of water for further development of 'lands, and will provide storage for reregulation of Colorado River waters: Dam will assure continuance of water rights and priorities un- der laws of Colorado. Unit will utilize flood flows to offset water shortages, allow de- velopment of new land, more fully utilize Colorado River water in accordance with compacts. Invest- ment costs are self- liquidating. Dam will provide protection to down- stream property, will provide stor- age of water for further development of lands, and will provide storage for reregulation of Colorado River waters. Dam will assure continuance of water rights and priorities under - laws of Colorado. Takes no position either "for" or "against" Narrows Dam.
