Assistance Needed <br />Engineering and economic studies are required and a joint <br />investigation by the Corps of Engineers and Soil Conserva- <br />tion Service is requested. <br />7. Interest of Local -People <br />The people suffering direct and indirect flood damage have <br />repeatedly made requests to the Federal Government for <br />assistance and as a result of several meetings the two <br />districts are submitting application for a study of this <br />area. <br />8. Local Participation <br />Local people seem willing to assist in giving data, hold <br />meetings, etc., to aid the investigation conducted by <br />both agencies. <br />9.
