Greg Peterson said that the next meeting of the UGRWCD will be on <br />November 14, 2002 at 5:30 p.m. at the Multipurpose Building, and that the <br />middle of the month meetings will take place on Thursdays, rather than <br />Tuesdays. He said he wants to hold the second monthly meetings only if <br />necessary. <br />14. EXECUTIVE SESSION <br />Greg Peterson said that there are three matters to discuss in executive <br />session: The Black Canyon settlement, Long Lake, and a personnel matter <br />with Bratton & McClow. <br />John McClow said he could discuss the personnel matter in open session. <br />He said that the board directed Bratton & McClow to come to the board in <br />advance of accepting any employment that could be perceived as being in <br />conflict with the district. He said that Camp, Dresser & McKee, are <br />preparing to put a bid on the State Water Supply Initiative and want Bratton <br />& McClow to work with them on it. He said that it is to be a reconnaissance <br />study which will make no recommendations. <br />The board' s consensus was to approve of the participation by Bratton & <br />McClow in the state' s Water Supply Investigation work in conjunction with <br />Camp, Dresser & McKee. <br />Bob Drexel moved and Bob Irby seconded to adjourn into executive session <br />to discuss matters relating to negotiations regarding Long Lake, pursuant to <br />§24- 6- 402(4)(a), C.R.S., and §24- 6- 402(4)(e), C.R.S., and also to discuss <br />matters relating to the Black Canyon litigation, pursuant to §24- 6- 402(4)(b), <br />C.R.S. The motion carried. <br />The board took no action as a result of the executive session. <br />15.
