Written Comment Deadline <br />Fifteen copies of all public written comments must be delivered tot <br />he CWCB office at <br />1313 Sherman Street, Room #721, Denver, CO 80203 by the close of business (5:00 p.m.) on <br />October 29, 2001. The CWCB will accept and consider late written comments and day -of- <br />hearing written comments, but any person who fails to deliver written comments by the October <br />17, 2001 deadline will not be entitled to make a Scheduled Oral Presentation. <br />Oral Presentations <br />Two types of oral presentations will be available to the public. The first, referred to as <br />Scheduled Oral Presentation, will be assigned a ten minute time period on the agenda. (NOTE: <br />Time may be reduced depending upon the number of people seeking a Scheduled Oral <br />Presentation.) The second, referred to as General Public Comment, will be allowed three <br />minutes or less (determined by the available time and number of speakers) and scheduled on a <br />"first come, first serve" basis. <br />Scheduled Oral Presentations are available for persons who deliver their written <br />comments to the CWCB on or before October 17, 2001 and who attend the October 23, 2001 <br />prehearing conference. Anyone who submits written comments by October 17, 2001 but cannot <br />attend the prehearing conference may make a written request for a Scheduled Oral Presentation <br />on or before October 23, 2001, but will have to accept whatever time slot is available after those <br />attending the prehearing conference have been assigned a time slot. <br />Contents of Written Comments <br />Written comments may include any written data, view or arguments concerning the <br />proposed Rules, and may contain alternative amendments and additions, legal arguments or <br />briefs, and materials prepared by persons other than the submitter. <br />PROPOSED AGENDA OF RULEMAKING HEARING <br />10:00 a.m. Rulemaking procedures explained <br />10:20 Staff presentation <br />11:00 Scheduled oral presentations <br />12:00 Lunch <br />1:00 Scheduled oral presentations <br />3:30 break <br />3:45 General public comment <br />4:10 Response to questions arising during oral presentations and public comment <br />4:30 Board deliberation <br />5:30 Hearing adjourns <br />NOTE: THE HEARING AND THE AGENDA MAY BE SHORTENED DEPENDING UPON <br />THE NUMBER OF SPEAKERS. 0 <br />Page 2 of 4 <br />
