STATE OF COLORADO <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board <br />Department of Natural Resources <br />1313 Sherman Street, Room 721 <br />Denver, Colorado 80203 <br />Phone: (303) 866 -3441 <br />FAX: (303) 866 -4474 <br />www.cwcb.state.co.us <br />Notice is hereby given that a special meeting of the Colorado Water Conservation Board <br />(CWCB) will be held at the Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street, 2 nd Floor Room 220, <br />Denver, Colorado 80203 at 10 a.m. on Thursday, November 8, 2001. <br />The Board will hold a formal rulemaking hearing to establish rules for the implementation of <br />Senate Bill 216. On June 5, 2001, Governor Owens signed into law Senate Bill 216, concerning <br />in- channel recreational diversions. This legislation directs the CWCB to review applications for <br />recreational in- channel diversions and to submit its recommendations to the water court. The <br />CWCB must set rules to govern procedures for applications and review. From June to September <br />of 2001 the Board is holding an informal rulemaking process and public meetings throughout the <br />state. The formal rulemaking hearing on Thursday, November 8, 2001 follows this informal <br />rulemaking process. <br />All programs, services and activities of the Department of Natural Resources and the Colorado <br />Water Conservation Board are operated in compliance with the Federal American with <br />Disabilities Act.
