The upper one in a wave with a small pile.
Its good for blunts and spins. I have seen retentive ends here, right and left, but you
must throw fast to stay in. The lower hole is good for cartwheels. Its more retentive
than the upper. Its also fast and looks shallow, but if youre in a short boat its great for
wheels, and loop -able at certain levels.
The Gunnison Rodeo is memorial day weekend (may 24 -25). Sat night is party amd
LVM #8 (the swimsuit issue) See www.whitewaterpark.org for park photos, fest info,
and registration forms,
Bryan
-------- - - - - --
Bryan Owen
President, Gunnison Valley Paddle Club
bryanowen78 @yahoo.com
gosgood - Posted: May 06 2003, 12 :26
I went yesterday about 6 pm. I was the oly one there and had a blast. I was only at
the wave and stayed about 45 min. I have a bigger boat (by today's standards), but
was able to surf, spin and throw (one) end. The wave is a bit tricky and trys to toss
you out. It was running about 500+ which may be the average for the summer
peaking at 1500 or so.
http: / /mountainbuzz.comlcgi- bin /forumsl ikonboard.cgi ?s =3 fOb22ed0128ffff ;act= ST;f= 9;t =3... 7/8/2003
