. <br /> ENLARGEMENTS MOA <br /> GENERAL <br /> C. Participant is a municipal entity that supplies water for municipal purposes, and <br /> desires to participate in implementation and development of the Enlargements in <br /> order to obtain storage space for its nonproject water. <br /> D. Implementation, development, operation and use of the Enlargements shall <br /> comply with applicable provisions of interstate compacts and other state and <br /> federal laws. <br /> E. Implementation and development of the Enlargements will require compliance <br /> with the National Environmental Policy Act ( "NEPA ") and related statutes. The <br /> Enterprise and Participant anticipate that the Bureau of Reclamation, U.S. <br /> Department of the Interior, will serve as the lead agency for environmental <br /> compliance. <br /> F. In order to implement and develop the Enlargements, the Enterprise is negotiating <br /> and intends to enter into a memorandum of understanding ( "MOU ") with the <br /> United States, whereby the Enterprise will reimburse the United States for <br /> specified tasks relating to the implementation and development of the <br /> -5- <br />
