We're going
to take water from places where we've never
taken it before," said Denver Water spokeswoman
Jane Earle.

Denver Water officials, who planned to announce
the plan today, did not disclose specifics when
contacted late Tuesday. But a Colorado Division of
Wildlife official revealed details that related to the
fishery resource as divulged in a joint meeting
Tuesday.

"We discussed a scenario in which Antero would
be totally emptied unless we get a large amount
of rain," said Steve Puttmann, principal biologist
for DOW's Northeast Region.
