These numbers are preliminary and the costs will certainly be higher as the Corps completes all <br />work tasks for the study. <br /> <br />CWCB/Corps contract <br />The CWCB and the Corps must <br />complete a contract amendment and <br />commit additional funding for the <br />completion of the study. <br />. The Corps had to terminate the <br />contract with Simons & Associates <br />as main contractor of this Study. <br />The CWCB and the Corps lost <br />considerable time and funds in this <br />effort. <br />. The Corps is now the main <br />contractor for the study and has <br />renegotiated a contract with Tetra <br />Tech for T & E species <br />consultation and preparing the <br />feasibility report. <br />. The current Corps estimate is <br />approximately $1,117,625 for completion of the study. <br />. The CWCB needs an additional $558,812 under the 50/50 cost share agreement. <br />. The CWCB has $150,000 in funds allocated for this project through the "Construction Fund <br />Bill" that is available July 1, 2004. <br />. Larry Lang - CWCB met with the Corps on April 6th in Omaha, NB regarding reservoir routing <br />procedures. <br /> <br />. The CWCB and the Corps will review reservoir modeling before the next meeting to discuss the <br />flood control and storage space issues related to this study. <br /> <br />. The Corps/CWCBrretra Tech Project Team will conduct regular project meetings.
