Project Summary — Yuma County Water Authority Public <br />Improvement District — Contract No. C150274 <br />SECTION 1 —BORROWER INFORMATION <br />Name:Yuma County Water Authority Public Improvement <br />District <br />Address: c/o Yuma County Board of County <br />Commissione�s, 310 Ash, Suite A, Wray, CO <br />80758 <br />Contact: Linda Briggs, Yuma County Administrator <br />Phone Number: 970-332-5796 <br />Fax Number: 970-332-3411 <br />E-mail address: adminlanduse@co.yuma.co.us <br />Type of Entity: The District is a public improvement district <br />formed pursuant to and governed by Article 30, <br />Title 20, C.R.S. and located in Yuma County. <br />Pursuant to an election held within the District on <br />November 4, 2008, voters approved the <br />incurrence of a general obligation indebtedness <br />in the aggregate principal amount of $15,375,000 <br />to be used for the purpose of paying, <br />reimbursing, or financing all or any part of the <br />costs of acquiring certain water rights and rights <br />to water, as shown on the BORROWER Official <br />Ballot and Official Election Results, which are <br />incorporated herein by reference. <br />Section 2 — Project Description <br />A. Description of PRO�ECr: The BoRROwER applied to the CWCB for a loan <br />to be used for the purchase of certain water rights in the North Fork of the <br />Republican River, located in Yuma County and related covenants, <br />hereinafter referred to as the PRO.IECT or WATER RiGHTS, at an estimated <br />total cost of $20,375,000. BoRROwER will obtain the balance of the cost of <br />the PRO�ECT from other sources. <br />B. Description of Feasibility Study: The CWCB has reviewed a feasibility <br />study report on the PRO�ECT compiled by Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, <br />LLP, which is incorporated herein by reference, and, based upon the <br />feasibility report, the CWCB determined the PRO�ECT to be technically and <br />financially feasible. <br />Appendix 1 to Loan Contract C150274 <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />12368\1 \1216151 7 <br />
