Type of Entity: The District is a public improvement district
formed pursuant to and governed by Article 30,
Title 20, C.R.S. and located in Yuma County.
Pursuant to an election held within the District on
November 4, 2008, voters approved the
incurrence of a general obligation indebtedness
in the aggregate principal amount of $15,375,000
to be used for the purpose of paying,
reimbursing, or financing all or any part of the
costs of acquiring certain water rights and rights
to water, as shown on the BORROWER Official
Ballot and Official Election Results, which are
incorporated herein by reference.
Section 2 — Project Description
A. Description of PRO�ECr: The BoRROwER applied to the CWCB for a loan
to be used for the purchase of certain water rights in the North Fork of the
Republican River, located in Yuma County and related covenants,
hereinafter referred to as the PRO.IECT or WATER RiGHTS, at an estimated
total cost of $20,375,000. BoRROwER will obtain the balance of the cost of
the PRO�ECT from other sources.
B. Description of Feasibility Study: The CWCB has reviewed a feasibility
study report on the PRO�ECT compiled by Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck,
LLP, which is incorporated herein by reference, and, based upon the
feasibility report, the CWCB determined the PRO�ECT to be technically and
financially feasible.
