As we discussed, we are
attaching some additional information for our loan application and feasibility study.
1. No Loan with CWCB Currentlv. You are correct; please revise the
application to show that Gypsum does not have an existing loan with
CWCB. The only outstanding loan for the Water Enterprise Fund is
actually with Colorado Water Resources and Power Development
Authority (CWRPDA), with a principal balance of $300,000. Gypsum
c~ft~ paid off its 1995 General Obligation Refunding Bonds in March 2009.
~__~
~~:
730 E. Durant Avenue
su~~e Zoo 2. Average Monthly Water Use per Household. The average monthly water
Aspen, CO 81611 use per household is approximately 15,969 gallons per tap per month
T.9~o.92o.io2e (based on a simple annual average, not seasonally adjusted). Gypsum's
F. 970.925.6847 water treatment facility records indicate approximately 1,200 acre feet per
U~~<<~~~ ot~i~~: year for retail water, and there are approxirriately 2038 water taps
999 18th Street (generally one tap per household). This translates into 0.59 af/tap/year
30th Flonr (192,281 gallons per tap annually), and 0.049 af/tap/month (15969 gallons
Denver, co aozo~ per tap per month). Gypsum's recent figures show estimated overall
't`.303.893.9~0o wintertime treatment to be around 10,600 gaUtap/mo...the additional
F.303.893J900 5,330 gaUtap/month accounts for landscape irrigation during summer
months, for an approximate average irrigation of about 3,400 square feet
I'h~~enix C)fticc;
per tap
2415 B. Gypsum is not subject to
~t'. ~~0.921.4044 the formal water conservation plan, because it delivers retail water of
E~480.921.86~8 approximately 1,200 acre feet per year, and additional irrigation
obligations from LEDE Reservoir only increase this to 1,300 acre feet per
'r~is, i>tt;«: year.
