Weiss of Weiss and Van Scoyk, LLP, and pursuant to Rule 10 of <br />the Recreational In-Channel Diversion rules as adopted by the Colorado Water Conservation <br />Board on November 8, 2001, files this Application for Party Status, and as grounds therefor, <br />states the following: <br />1. Name and Address of Applicant: <br />Town of Oak Creek <br />P.O. Box 128 <br />Oak Creek, CO 80467 <br />2. Brief Statement of Reasons Why the Applicant is Seeking Party Status: <br />The Town of Oak Creek ("Town") is a statutory municipality which owns and operates a <br />municipal water system and owns water rights in the Upper Yampa Basin upstream from <br />the proposed Recreational In-Channel Diversion filed by the City of Steamboat ("City <br />RICD").
