Therefore, the locations <br />for both structures satisfy all important criteria for their intended use and were designated <br />as the appropriate stream reaches by the YRMP. <br />5. Union Pacific Railroad Approval <br />I met with local UPRR personnel on February 20, 2003 to discuss use of their property <br />for planned river improvement projects in Spring 2003, including construction of the <br />Charlie's Hole. During the course of the meeting, UPRR staff stated they had no <br />objections to our plans for building the structure where it is presently located. <br />6. Ownership <br />Exhibit S-21 is a quit claim deed from the Friends of the Yampa granting sole ownership <br />of the D Hole and Charlie's Hole to the City of Steamboat Springs. <br />Page 4 5/19/2004
