growth between the release date, August 1, and the monitoring date of November 1. All
humpback chub captured were implanted with a 134.2Khz PIT tag and released back into
the LCR. In addition to humpback chub, we collected speckled dace, carp, fathead
minnow, plains killifish, black bullhead and age-0 channel catfish. In spring 2004,
monitoring will continue above Chute Falls to detect humpback chub retention following
spring runoff events.
