The species that will <br />benefit from these activities include the South Platte and Arkansas basins plains fishes; the Rio Grande <br />basin native fish; and the Colorado River cutthroat trout. <br />The activities eligible for funding are drawn from plans and include: <br />• the establishment of aquatic habitat at the Tamarack State Wildlife Area; <br />• the establishment of brood fish lakes; and, <br />• the acquisition of easements for Arkansas Darter habitat. <br />Performance factors will include the establishment of fish habitat in the lower South Platte and <br />Arkansas basins. <br />Prairie Grasslands Conservation <br />FY 99-00 Funding Summarv: <br /> Trust Fund Contributions Colorado's Estimated Estimated Total Long <br /> Request From Other Share of Long Term Term Cost <br /> Sources Costs <br /> $75,000 Estimates not yet Estimates not yet <br /> available available <br />Operating $75,000 <br />Capital <br />This program is directed toward developing conservation plans and agreements for prairie grassland <br />species not currently listed under the federal Endangered Species Act, but that may be listed if no <br />action is taken.
