Conclusion
The regional impacts depicted in I-E-1 provide three conclusions. First, for the Colorado
River Basin as a whole, regional economic impacts are clearly positive. Second, the
State-level impacts aze not distributed evenly over the individual States in the Basin. Finally,
the percent deviation of the incremental impacts of proposed critical habitat designation from
the without fish scenario is small.
The national efficiency output impacts reported in Tables I-E-4 and I-E-S range from -$3.34
million (Scenario B1) to $4.72 million (Scenario A2). Based upon the characteristics of the
Basin and the nature of the regional economies, the annualized value of $3.77 million
reported for Scenario Al is the most plausible.
