Cluster Analysis
Cluster analysis, using mean number of individuals/m2, was performed by the
statistical package NTSYS-pc (Rohlf 1992). The distance matrix, based on taxonomic
differences between habitat types and sample dates, was generated using the Bray-Curtis
coefficient (Bray and Curtis 1957). Average linkage clustering of the Bray-Curtis
distances was done using the unweighted pair-group method using arithmetic averages
(UPrMA)(Krebs 1989).
