<br />We thank the river guides for sharing their
<br />knowledge of Grand Canyon; their immeasurable
<br />whitewater expertise was a key to the safety and
<br />success of this study. The Grand Canyon River
<br />Guides helped to promote continuation of sound
<br />scientific investigations of Glen Canyon Dam
<br />operations and they continually challenged and
<br />improved many aspects of our study. Mike Walker
<br />of OARS coordinated river logistics and provided
<br />specially-designed boats to accommodate our
