The Upper Colorado River Endangered Fish Program has been the model for the
development of the Genetics Management Guidelines for Listed and Candidate
Fish Species in Region 6. J. Holt Williamson and Richard S. Wydoski prepared
the original guidelines entitled "Genetics Management Guidelines-Recovery
Implementation Program for Endangered Fish Species in the Upper Colorado River
Basin". They have agreed to allow their implementation document to be
broadened to cover all activities involving listed and candidate species in
Region 6.
