1 <br />PUBLIC REVIEW <br /> <br />This recovery plan was made available to the public for comments as required <br />by the 1988 amendments to the Endangered Species Act of 1973. The public ' <br />comment period was announced in the Federal Register 29 April 1993, and closed <br />28 June 1993. Press releases were sent to the print media. <br />During the public comment period, five letters were received. The comments ' <br />provided in these letters have been considered, and incorporated as <br />appropriate. Comments address recovery tasks that are the responsibility of <br />an agency other than the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service have been sent to that <br />agency as required by the 1988 amendments to the Act.
