Two previous editions of this publication, entitled <br />"Rare and Endangered Fish and Wildlife of the United States,." <br />differ from this edition in minor ways. We feel that our new <br />edition is a more informative .document and that it summarizes <br />present knowledge more precisely than the past publications. <br />The official list of endangered native fish and wildlife is <br />established by the U.S. Department of Interior and ~.s published <br />in the Federal Register. The list is amended periodically. <br />Appendix C of this publication contains the current list as of <br />the press date of this publication. <br />We have attached a list of Bureau of Sport Fisheries and Wildlife <br />personnel of the Denver Region who are primarily responsible for <br />the endangered species activity in the ten states served by this <br />region. In addition, we have included a list of the state coor- <br />dinators of the state fish and game agencies for Montane, Wyoming, <br />North Dakota, South Dakota, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, Utah, <br />and Colorado. <br />a~~i l' ~v ~~L ~~ <br />Enclosures <br />MAY 211973 <br />
