<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Endangered Fish Captured <br /> <br />A total of 3 Colorado s~Jawfish and 1 humpback chub were captured during <br />trip no. 2 (Table 3). The squawfish comprised of 3 juveniles (one 1986 year <br />class, one 1985 year class, and one older). The squawfish were 117, 175, and <br />237 rom TL. The humpback chub ,~s an adult female; TL = 270 rnm, weight = 155 g. <br />Photographs and pertinent meristics were taken and are recorded in Table 5. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />This adult female humpback chub was in excellent condition with slight <br />rose coloration on her paired fins. She showed no evidence of tuberculation, <br />and we were unable to express eggs with slight to moderate pressure. The fish <br />was captured on April 14, 1988, at RM 207.3, when the daily water temperature <br />ranged from 56 to 58 F (13.3 to 14.4 C). This fish was just beginning to show <br />signs of reproductive condition. She was captured in a region in which several <br />humpback chub have been captured during the two years of this investigation. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Table 1.
