Single copies of the journal are $5.00 post-free. <br />For subscription or membership, address correspondence to the Membership Secretary of the Academy, Laboratory <br />of Climatology, Arizona State University, Tempe, AZ 85287. <br />Editorial Policy <br />The Journal of the Arizona-Nevada Academy of Science is published principally by and for the members of the Arizona- <br />Nevada Academy of Science. It is the intention of the Editorial Board that the journal shall serve all members, and publica- <br />tions are not to be restricted to formal, original scientific papers. Authors who are not members of the Academy will be <br />charged a publication fee of $30.00 per page for each page of their papers, members $15.00 per page for the first eight pages. <br />Issues of the journal will be published twice a year. Laguna Grande (=Lago de Churince), Cuatro Cienegas, Coahuila. View is northeast towards the tip of <br />Sierra de San Marcos. Laguna Grande is the terminus of a Cuatro Cienegas drainage that begins in Laguna Churince in <br />the extreme western part of the basin. This is the least disturbed drainage in the basin (Minckley 1969). Laguna Grande <br />measures about 1 km long and 0.5 km wide, but is typically less than 1 in in depth.
