.Wildlife Area, because heavy snows prevented entering Echo Park until
the latter part of April. The last sampling trip is planned for the
first two weeks of November and will include the t~Jalker Wildlife Area,
Isiand.Park, Echo Park, and Deerlodge Park. '
A summary of the re:~ults of the past field season has been divided
into two sections, the first concerning the humpback sucker and the
second concerning the Colorado squawfish. Numbers of rare fish handled
this past year are presented in Table 1, and selected collections are
presented in appendix A 'Co give an idea of the relative abundance of the
rare forms as compared tNith other indigenous and introduced fish.
