Bottom was large cobbles <br />covered with several inches of "ooze". <br />` Seining <br />Two seine hauls were made with a 100' bag seine with 1" mesh 1 <br />_rainbow and 1 brown trout vrere caught in this manner. <br />Seining with a 15`, 1/4" mesh minnow seine in various shallow water <br />habitats. revealed the follovring small fish: <br />creek chub - common <br />redside shiner - common to abundant <br />fathead minnow - occasional to common <br />*mottled sculpin - occasiona] to common <br />red shiner - abundant <br />*speck7ed dace - occasional to common ~ - <br />Juveniles <br />flannelntouth sucker - common <br />bluehead sucker - common <br />rountail chub - common <br />trout (brown and rainbow) - rare <br />* <br />When the proper habitat is sampled they are common but their habitat <br />is limited in this area. <br />
