<br />CHAPTER IV <br /> <br />ENVIRONMENTAL CONSEQUENCES <br /> Table IV-A-2 <br />' <br />Reclamation Projects in the Upper Colorado River Basin <br /> - Assumed Future Flow Releases - <br />Reclamation <br />Project Assumed Future Flow Releases <br />Ruedi/Green Mountain 5,000 acre-feet/year will be withheld from sale <br /> and made available for rare and endangered fish <br /> flows as necessary. An additional 5,000 acre- <br /> feet/year will be provided through refined <br /> operations on an average of 4 out of 5 years. <br />' This water will be released as follows: <br /> a) Dry water year: release 81 cfs/day for period <br />' 7/15-9/15 <br /> b) Average water year: release 81 cfs/day for <br />' period 8/1-9/30 <br /> c) Wet water year: release 81 cfs/day for period <br /> 8/1 - 9/30 <br />Flaming Gorge Flow releases will vary between 800 and 2,600 cfs <br /> from the third week in July through September. <br /> During this period, releases will not exceed <br /> 100,000 acre-feet/month. <br />Blue Mesa Will be operated to ensure a 2,000 cfs minimum <br />' flow below the confluence of the Gunnison and <br /> <br />1 Colorado Rivers an average of 9 out of 10 years. <br />1 IV-A-3
