<br />-2- <br />carp, fathead minnows, and red shiners. The latter two species have <br />invaded the Colorado River within the pAst 20 years, but carp and <br />channel catfish have been in the river since around the turn of the <br />century. . <br />The humpback chub was described from Grand Canyon (from a specimen <br />taken off the mouth of ~Sright Angel Creek) but no further specimens were <br />.. collected until our 1968 survey. It. is also known from the archeological <br />site, Stanton's Cave, in Marble Canyon, 32 river miles below Lee's Ferry. <br />. .~ Robert R. Miller <br />" Gerald R.
