i '
Ciry of Golden
2/2/2001
Edward R Kowalski
Page 15
1 guess that would be it.
2 Q. You indicated earlier that your
3 education major was in, was it, government?
4 A. Um-hum.
5 Q. Is that right? And you have a legal
6 degree. Co you have any scientific degrees of
7 any natux e?
8 A. No. I have a certificate in natural
9 resaurces and environmental science that I
10 obtained in conjunction with my Iaw degree.
11 It's a sc ience policy certificate, but I don't
12 believe I 'd characterize it as a degree.
13 Q. So that's strictly a policy type of
14 courses? '
15 A. There were some science courses, as
16 well, but generally it was more policy-based.
17 Q. Were they social science type of
18 courses?
19 A. Yes.
20 Q. Were there any so-called hard
21 science courses as part of that degree?
22 A. No.
23 Q. So any testimony you would present
,,24 tc the court would be strictly as a lay
25 observer; would that be accurate?
Esquire Deposition Services
3f3997e1-db77-11c9-a133-0060942e0c51
