~ ~ ~.
Acknowledgements
The author would like to confer ingenuous praise to several
contemporary scientists who provided exemplary technical expertise
during selected phrases of the effort needed to complete this
report. Jim Ren"e developed a series of complicated Fortran programs
without which data reduction would have been virtually impossible.
Thanks Jimt John Bartalow gladly answered many questions the author
had regarding the detailed statistical output .from the temperature
model.
Considerable moral support came from Mark Butler, a close friend and
confidant. Mark's humor and comments gave the author sufferance
needed to overcome the vast difficulties encountered during every
phase of the project. Mark, how can I ever thank you enough?
Finally, the author extends a warm thank you to all of the little
people who reviewed the report and dispensed constructive comments
that fully enriched the final product you will now read. You little
people are terrific!
"Little' Joe Lyon's comments gave me the afflatus I needed to write
down on paper the temperature model's many complex aberrations. His
brilliant comments on the initial draft drove me into a fit of
joyful eclampsia. As we all know, technical documents are labile,
and I sincerely appreciate Joe's suggestions which greatly improved
this document's readability. Joe, your the best elucidationist I
know! Thanks alot.
