Thank you for the opportunity to review the draft Bumpback Chub Recovery
Plan developed by the Colorado River Fishes Recovery team-,
According to the present distribution map (Figure 1) the humpback chub
is not presently inhabit~[»g Ness' Mexico's Colorado River basin area.
Also, the New 1lexioo Department of Game & Fish does not caonsider it to
be present in Aew Mexico.
In light of its absence in the state, we are unable to commit program`
and dollars as suggested in the implementataton schedule.
