Subject: Colorado Squawfish Recovery Plan Draft
We have reviewed the subject plan and approve it for implementation with
the following comments.
P-1 The Primary goal should be clarified. Does "restore...to non-endangered
status" moan delist, reclassify from Endangered to Threatened, or botht
Other comments on the step-down outline are as follows:
P-2 1132- Add "agencies" after "all".
P-3 113 -Change to read "Identify habitat essential for the survival
of the squawfish".
P-4 1151 and 1152 -Delete
Page 16, 113, second paragraph -Section 7 is only applicable to
P-5 P~deral agencies. Delete "indivi~al, company or" in first
sentence and ali after "individuals" in last sentence.
Ali tasks in the step-down outline should be a3sigrled to a cooperator
P-6 for implementation in the "Proposed Budget" section. Task n~bers 113,
1141-1143, 121, ZI11, 2112, 2221 card 4 have not been thusly assigned.
