Revised July 8 10 , 2009 <br />Scope of Work <br />The application must provide a summary of the scope of work. The scope of work is a <br />detailed summary of how the project or water activity will be accomplished. The scope of <br />work must include a description of the activitie s and tasks that will be undertaken, logistics, <br />and final product/deliverables to be produced at th e completion of the grant or loan activity. <br />Information that should be in the scope of work includes the following: <br />Detailed summary of the water activity. <br />Description of the goals of the water activity and how the water activity will accomplish <br />those goals. <br />Description of how the work will be accomplished and major deliverables/products. <br />A list of participants and their qualifications to accomplish the project/water activity. <br />A detailed budget by activity, level of effort , and rates. The budget shall also detail the <br />source and amount of matching funds and/or in-kind contributions, if any. If applicable, <br />the budget should also include any other outstanding or previously applied for funding <br />that also supports the water activity. <br />A detailed project schedule including key milestones. <br />Reporting: The applicant shall provide the CWCB a progress report every 6 months, <br />beginning from the date of the executed contract. The progress report shall describe the <br />completion or partial completion of the task s identified in the scope of work including a <br />description of any major issues that have occurred and any corrective action taken to address <br />these issues. <br />Final Deliverable: At completion of the project, the applicant shall provide the CWCB a <br />final report that summarizes the project and documents how the project was completed. This <br />report may contain photographs, summaries of meetings and engineering reports/designs. <br />12 16 <br />Page of <br /> <br />
