Curry <br />r pursuing <br />? <br />=-? <br />r statewide <br />political <br />post <br />Stepping down as <br />UGRWCD director <br />Chris Dickeu <br />Kathleen <br />Curry is <br />stepping <br />down from <br />her position <br />as full-time <br />director of <br />the Upper <br />Gunnison <br />River Water <br />Conseivancy Kathleen Curry <br />District to <br />make a bid for the Colorado <br />House of Representatives. Last <br />week she traveled up and down <br />the Gunnison Valley and to <br />communities such as Aspen and <br />Glenwood Springs publicly an- <br />nouncing her candidacy for <br />House District 61, a two-year <br />seat that is up for election in <br />November of 2004. <br />"I've been thinking about this <br />for a long time," Curry, a <br />Democrat, said.
