COULTER:
Q Mr. Kowalski, did you have any input into the Bo
Shelby report?
A Yes, I assisted --
MS. COVELL: Objection. What report are we
discussing here? We've talked about a 1993 treatise that he
wrote. We've heard nothing else that Mr. Shelby's written or
report.
Q (By Ms. Coulter) Could you describe what's the Bo
Shelby report?
A Certainly. In the context of the Golden trial, after
reading the treatise, we hired Mr. Bo Shelby to conduct a user
survey to determine what flows were appropriate for different
recreational opportunities. Mr. Shelby was hired to present
expert testimony in that case. I oversaw the development of
that report and assisted in the development of that survey and
his expert report in that case. I also assisted in the
development of his testimony that was presented before the
water court in that matter. And that's what the Bo Shelby
report is. And that's what my role is with regard to that
report.
Q And do you work closely with engineers?
