The <br />award-winning project includes over forty miles of greenways, bridges and underpasses, pocket <br />parks, environmental presentation and restoration areas, and flood capacity improvements. The <br />project budget is over $1 million each year. <br />1987-1989 Special Projects Manager <br />City of Boulder <br />Boulder, Colorado <br />Responsible for planning, coordinating and managing a number of City projects along with <br />providing guidance and input for the preparation of city-wide master plans, annual operating and • <br />capital budgets. and determination of recommended city policies. Worked closely with the City <br />Manager's office, City Attorney's office and the Parks, Planning, Open Space, and Public Works <br />Departments in a cooperative way to complete each project. Received the 1988 Boulder <br />Employee Performance Bonus Award. <br />1985 - 1989 Boulder Creek Project Coordinator <br />City of Boulder <br />Boulder, Colorado <br />Planned, coordinated, and managed $4 million stream corridor project through the City of <br />Boulder. This project won the 1986 Colorado Engineering Excellence Award, 1986 Colorado <br />Landscape Design Award, and the 1987 Best of Boulder Awards. The project has been the <br />subject of numerous articles in national magazines and at national conferences and has been <br />viewed as a state-of-the-art model for urban creek corridor projects by many U.S. cities. <br />1981 - 1982 Assistant City Engineer <br />City of Glenwood Springs <br />Glenwood Springs, Colorado <br />Responsible for handling daily emergency problems with the city water system, organizing daily <br />activities, design of capital improvement projects, and supervision of city crews. <br />0 <br />-13-
