Consolidated Civil Case <br />Nos. 2782, 5016 and 5017 and <br />Case No. 91CW252, WD S <br />diversi.on is the west portal of the Tunnel which <br />:s -ccated at a point whence the East Quarter <br />Corner (E1i4) of Section 18, Township 5 South, <br />Ranae 77 West of the 5th P.M. bears South 81007' <br />East, 941.6 feet. The Montezuma Tunnel was <br />decreed in Case Nos. 1805 and 1806 in the District <br />Cour-- of the County of Summit on March 10, 1952, <br />wiL" an appropriation date.of June 24, 1946. The <br />Federal District Court conf irmed the appropriation <br />date in these Consolidated Cases on October 12, <br />1955. The Tunnel diverts water from the Blue <br />River, Snake River, and Ten Mile Creek. <br />(3) waters of the Colorado River, after they <br />have been exchanged for storage in Dillon Reservoir or <br />diversion through the Montezuma Tunnel, a/k/a Harold D. <br />Roberts Tunnel or both, will be used either directly or <br />stored and subsequently used or by a combination of both <br />methods through the various units of the Denver Municipal <br />Water Works Svstem. <br />24.3 Source: <br />(1) The water to be used for the exchanges is <br />f rom the waters of Muddy Creek and its tributaries which <br />shall have :Deen stored _:i Wolford Mountain Reservoir <br />25
