An account is maintained for them in Seminoe Reservoir when reservoir
storage space is available.
7/Pacific Power has a storage right to store water in Glendo Reservoir for the Dave Johnston
Powerplant. As cooling water is taken from the North Platte River at the powerplant, the account in
Glendo Reservoir is reduced accordingly.
8/Water which does not have a storage right and is captured in the reservoirs is labeled excess
water. In accordance with the 2000 Natural Flow and Ownership Procedures, an operational account
containing up to 15,000 acre-feet of water is being maintained. On October 31, 2000, the excess
account contained 13,506 acre-feet, which includes the 7,976 acre-feet of operational water.
5
