Wyoming Area Office
Bureau of Reclamarion
ownership would have accrued 641.7 kaf (26.3 kaf short of filling to the restored Pathfinder
Reservoir capacity of 1,070 kafl. Under this situation, the Kendrick ownership would have not
come into priority for accrual, and the Pathfinder Enviranmental Aceount would be estimated to
have accrued approximately 20.4 kaf and the Wyoming Municipal Account would be estimated
to have accrued 12.0 kaf (approximately 3.18% and 1.87% of the 641.7 kaf Pathfmder accrual,
respectively).
The Glendo and Kendrick ownerships would not fill given most probable inflow conditions.
Should the total system inflows approach the reasonable minimum inflow conditions, the inflows
would be similar to those experienced in water year 2004 (661.1 kaf in water year 2004 versus
680.1 kaf for the minimum inflow condition). Releases from Guernsey Reservoir are in response
to dernands in the probable operating plan.
Reclamation will continue to update the North Platte River operating plans on a monthly basis in
response to changing inflow conditions. Reclamation will prepare farecasts of the April through
July snowmelt runoff beguming February 1 and continuing through May 1.
