F <br />Irrigation Water Management Program <br />Ogallala Aquifer <br />Page two <br />Sprinkler sales personnel - to assist the farmers in purchase of proper equipment for their <br />particular situations. <br />USGS - to provide information for the various studies they complete. <br />WAPA and Tri-State - to make energy projections for the operation of cunent facilities <br />and determine the need for future energy producing projects. <br />Well drillers - to make decisions regarding the replacement the casing or relocation of the <br />well. <br />Groundwater Management Districts - to make sound recommendations for new wells, <br />relocations, and changes in use. PCC, meter verification, information for expanded acres <br />and co-mingling - this information required by State Engineer. Tests are made to verify <br />gallonage and usage on hog fanns. <br />Natural Resources Conservation Service - to make decisions regarding the eligibility of <br />producers for various cost-share programs. Also for voluntary irrigation water <br />management programs and rooting depth studies with private landowners. <br />Municipalities - to locate existing irrigation wells with high output for the possible <br />purchase and use as a source of water for the municipality. <br />4.
