Denver Basin water users aze concerned about long-term impacts on the underground/nonrenewable water supply. Denver is <br />CAnCemed ab'vui iS iiguf iu iTia=imi!r existiag waYer righe5 prioriYies io supply users. Arkansas t'tiver oasin citizens are concemed <br />about the adverse impacts of further drying up of agricultural lands, especially in view of the adverse consequences of the diversion <br />and dry-up caused by the pror transfers by Aurora. Other peobiems that concem water suppliers generally are the unknowns about <br />fuhue federal requirements, weather uncertainties inciuding droughts, and the uncertainty of future growth needs. <br />6Recommended Solution - Develop a set of weighted principles to-apply to future water supply decis'ions thai results in a sequencing, <br />of priorities for utilization of water supply sources, as distinguished from strict reliance on priority of rigiit, including right to purchase ` <br />and change water rights, if that is inconsistent wzth the principles established.
