There were no additions or revisions to the
agenda.
Kerkman provided a handout of 2002 Projected Downstream Flows, updated Apri123,
2002. He reported that flows have been lower than were projected in the fall, however, a
change in their projected operations is not warranted, yet. It appears the 3-foot gain in
Lake McConaughy elevation projected for May/early June will not occur and that a 2-
foot decline will likely occur instead. Lake levels are expected to be 5 foot lower than
originally predicted by fall. A"very dry" type-of-year prediction would occur when lake
levels are at or below 650K. That level may not be reached this year but it is plausible it
could happen in the future if conditions do not improve. He anticipates they have enough
storage water to meet all CNPPID's deliveries so doesn't anticipate having to allocate
this irrigation season.
